STONE
All pieces are created from colorful natural minerals, gemstones and crystals cut, shaped and polished by Dev Khan, lapidary and
wire artist. The cut stones honor and follow the process and place that create it. Polished freeform shapes with natural rough
edges contain clues to the stone's origin.
METAL
Precious metal wire flows organically about the stone, delicate gemstone beads, tiny pearls and rough crystals complementing the
natural colors and patterns found within.
ALCHEMY
These are portraits of the planet in miniature, tiny tidepools and gardens, landscapes, or the planet seen from above. Swirling
earth colors, fiery reds, brilliant sea blue-greens, are scaled down to a wearable piece of art.
ARTIST
Dev is curious, enthusiastic and easily amused. The art is inspired by nature, the rhythms, textures, and colors of earth and
sky. She is very fond of stones and the stories they tell of heat and time, pressure and energy.
